In the wee hours of the morning, I felt something sharp poking my leg under the covers. As Spouse sleeps on the other side of me, I am not used to things being on that side in my bed with me. I reached down to sweep whatever it was out of my bed, and I felt something furry. Still in a state of semi-consciousness, I started to freak out a little. Then I realized that was I was feeling was the cat’s paw and front leg. She was sleeping with us and had stuck her front leg under the covers. Her claw was out because she was hanging on to the mattress.
Sometimes life is about laughing so you don't cry. Other times, it is about laughing so hard that you do.
