Today's thankful: Socks
Yes, socks. I am thankful for little cotton foot blankets. When I was a young woman working downtown, I wore a dress, pantyhose and heels every day to the office. And I was SO envious of all the men in their suits, comfy shoes and socks. Then one day, when I was past the point of caring what men thought, I bought myself a pair of comfy shoes and dress pants. And I wore socks. Granted, they were trouser socks, and not super cozy, but it was a start. Since that first day of workplace socks, I have discovered boots. You can wear socks with them, real socks, and nobody sees them. Yeah, socks are good.

Amen Sister! Especially since years of wearing hose and heels have left me with feet in which my blood apparently does not circulate! Just say NO to cold toes!
